Mariëlle de Wild has been practising as a lawyer since 2017. She has since been engaged in advising, negotiating and litigating in the field of insolvency law and directors’ liability. In addition, Mariëlle is regularly appointed receiver in bankruptcies of SMEs. This combination (receiver-lawyer) puts Mariëlle in an excellent position to assist companies in (impending) bankruptcies and/or disputes with receivers and directors’ liability issues.
In connection with the entry into force of the Homologation Underhand Arrangement Act (WHOA) in 2021, Mariëlle attended the specialisation course “Restructuring Expert” at Leiden University. In addition, Mariëlle completed the postgraduate specialisation course in Insolvency Law at the Grotius Academy in 2024. This is the most comprehensive and complete postgraduate course in the field of insolvency law.
Mariëlle is a member of the Young Insolvency Lawyers Association (JIRA) and INSOLAD.
Mariëlle is registered in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association as a principal area of law: insolvency law. Pursuant to this registration, she is obliged to obtain ten training points in each registered main area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
